Interspare GmbH - The Company

In 1994 the company INTERSPARE was founded in Hamburg by Mr. Carsten Kalek and  Mr. Dirk Polchow who together represent the company. Since that date INTERSPARE supplies spare parts for textile machineries, especially for textile finishing plants.

In 1999, INTERSPARE moved into the newly build property in Reinbek, near Hamburg responding to the ever growing demand for high-quality spare parts as the new location is equipped with much larger storage capacity. Thus, a larger stock of spare parts for different systems can be made available to secure shortest deliveries.

On 1st November 2007 INTERSPARE took over all rights to all patents, licences, and technical documentation inclusive the spare parts stock of the brands ARTOS, BABCOCK (BTM), FAMATEX, HAAS, KRANTZ, and STENTEX as an ideal complement to the existing spare parts business. Long-service employees with technical knowledge of these product areas were recruited by INTERSPARE and complete the total acquired know-how.  Therefore, INTERSPARE can offer solutions in terms of spare parts, services, extensions, modernizations, upgradings and new machines for above brands.

Shortly after the asset deal with the former Moenus first new plants could be delivered and thus the tradition and quality of the brands ARTOS, KRANTZ, and STENTEX can be continued successfully.

The extension, modernization, and upgrading business is based on original documents of the former construction and configuration departments. INTERSPARE thus secures the total care of the above brands on the basis of original documents. As the sole supplier of ORIGINAL spare parts INTERSPARE is also a competent partner for service, maintenance and modification of large machinery of various systems.

Despite the sustained expansion of the product portfolio INTERSPARE is still able to rapidly supply original spare parts as a top priority. The specially designed product registration system allows direct access to our online shop, which is attached to this internet presence. Customers can identify spare parts online with the help of available illustrations, technical descriptions as well as photos and drawings. This helps to avoid errors in the spare parts request and is the fastest way for the supply of spare parts.

Due to the high acceptance of the greatly expanded range of products, the owners of INTERSPARE have bought additional land as extension of the exiting site in May 2010. The new area will be used for the construction of a logistics and manufacturing facility with a size of approx. 2500 m².

This confirms once more that INTERSPARE, an owner managed, independent enterprise pursues exclusively long-term goals, in order to grow successfully with the customers.
